Even though I have been to Malaysia and ate myself silly, I can’t clearly define what Malaysian food is. Malaysian cuisine reflects the multi-racial aspects of Malaysia such as Malay, Chinese and Indian, although it isn’t quite like Indian food, and I wouldn’t put it in same category as Chinese food. If you like Thai food, you’ll probably like Malaysian, it is a combination of rice and noodle dishes with meats and veggies blended with aromatic spices and maybe even some Thai influence. Oh, and of course, a lot of dishes made with coconut milk.
